Welcome to My Teacher’s Profile!

Hi! My name is Alvin, and I’m from Ontario, Canada. I am currently studying Software Engineering at the University of Guelph, and I am a passionate tutor who loves helping students excel in Middle School Mathematics and Highschool English.

I have a natural ability to break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand concepts, making learning engaging and effective. My goal is not just to improve grades but to build confidence and problem-solving skills in my students.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working out and playing hockey, which keeps me active and disciplined — qualities that also reflect in my teaching style. With a structured yet flexible approach, I adapt to each student’s needs, ensuring they grasp the material in a way that makes sense to them.
